In Messico dovrebbe esserci già Mikkelsen con la Polo WRC... Per quanto riguarda la "bomba" lanciata da @Bart confermo tutto (a tal proposito vi invito a leggere una bella intervista di autosprint ai protagonisti del CIR)... Campedelli vorrebbe correre nel WRC-3 con la Citroen visto che la casa francese ha dimezzato il budget per il CIR... ma Simone è in trattativa per il WRC-3 oppure per il CIR con una Peugeot 208 R2 del team ufficiale insieme a Ucci... Chiudo con il ritorno di un big...Marcus Gronholm testerà la Mini di Motorsport Italia tra qualche mese...dire che vorrei cederlo al 1000 laghi con quella vettura è dire poco! Secondo una dichiarazione rilasciata a fine 2012 da Felice Re, Alessandro dovrebbe fare il WRC-3 e avrebbe già dovuto debuttare a Montecarlo...invece farà Svezia sicuro poi salterà Messico per rivederlo probabilmente in Portogallo... Intanto Tanak dovrebbe avere un accordo per 5 gare del WRC con la Fiesta WRC...le gare dovrebbero essere quelle che si disputano nel periodo estivo: Italia (??), Grecia, Finlandia, Germania, e una quinta (??) dispiace non vedere tanak al via di questo mondiale ,speriamo riesca ad organizzare un mini programma ,in fondo è un bel talentino !
Autosprint parla addirittura di un team italiano interessato al Citroen Trophy ed eventualmente WRC-3 con Crugnola, Re e Parli, con eventualmente Campedelli pronto a entrare dopo il Portogallo. Intanto è una non notizia, nel senso che si immaginava, comunque Nikara sarà al via del Rally di Portogallo con la Mini targata Prodrive 11/2/2013 Jarkko Nikara, driving his John Deere-supported MINI John Cooper Works WRC, set three top ten stage times on the final day of Rally Sweden, as he continued to sweep the road for the following drivers. Indeed it would have been four top tens, but for stalling off the line on stage 21, which cost him around ten seconds. Sweden is only the Finnish driver’s second outing in a World Rally Car, following his amazing fifth place on his debut at Rally Spain in November. Nikara’s poor road position over the weekend hampered his progress. It was initially a consequence of missing qualifying after a high speed accident during free practice, but then he lost 45 minutes in a snow bank on stage three, meaning he was set to sweep the road for the rest of the rally. The highlight of his weekend was his third place on stage 21. Dave Wilcock, Prodrive WRC Team principal said: “You have to say that Jarkko has driven his first full snow event in a WRC very well. Despite driving on loose snow at the front of the field, he has still been able to demonstrate his raw pace with some excellent splits, while showing maturity to complete all 22 stages. Only the excursion into a snow bank on stage three has cost him a top ten finish, which in a field of this strength, with so many full works drivers with so much testing under their belts would have been quite an achievement. I look forward to seeing him back in the car for Portugal and hopefully some further events. All he needs is time behind the wheel to really show his true potential.” Jarkko Nikara said: “When the roads were clear and icy the car was really fun to drive, but when there was loose snow on the surface it was much harder for me. I have definitely improved as the event has gone on and I am pleased with my speed and I have learnt the car more and more as I only had 70km of testing before the event. The other guys here have had a lot more time in their cars and they know these stages much better than me, so I am pleased with my performance. I am now looking forward to Portugal. I drove there in 2009 in group N and it is an event I like.” Nikara will compete for the Prodrive WRC Team at Rally Portugal in April and it is hoped to add further events including Finland.

Nikara e Prodrive mi sembra siano stati sinceri fino ad ora...hanno detto che il budget al momento è limitato a Svezia, Portogallo, Finlandia (ultima riga del comunicato) e (forse) Spagna visto il bel risultato del 2012 Io sono di parte e apprezzo Nikara, spero che il suo programma possa arrivare a circa sette-otto eventi (compresa la Sardegna), anche se la politica attuale di Prodrive mi sembra particolarmente incentrata sul budget, e non sulle prestazioni, e quindi non so fino a che punto vorrà arrivare a spendere il finnico. Stagni su autosprint (numero in edicola FINO al 12/02/2013) ha detto di essere in contatto con H Solberg, Nikara, Sandell e Robert Kubica... la decisione dovrebbe arrivare entro il Portogallo...
Il pilota argentino Marcos Ligato, navigato da Rùben Garcia sarà al via del WRC-2 su Subaru Sedan STI R4 della TOP RUN RACING, le gare prescelte sono Portogallo, Argentina, Acropolis, Rally d'Italia Sardegna, Catalunya, Finlandia e Galles. Un'altro argentino Juan Carlos Alonso sarà sempre al via del WRC-2 ma su Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X del team argentino RMC. Sarà presente in Portogallo, Argentina, Acropolis, Sardegna, Catalunya e Galles
